Vietjet launches second air route to Dien Bien Province

The Vietnamese budget carrier Vietjet launched a new air route connecting Hanoi with the Northwestern province of Dien Bien on March 1.

This is the second air route of Vietjet to Dien Bien, after the first one connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dien Bien.

The carrier offers three return flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a flight time of only 50 minutes. The flights depart from Hanoi at 09:30 and arrive in Dien Bien at 10:25, and the return flights depart from Dien Bien at 11:00 and land in Hanoi at 11:50.

The Vietjet air route is also expected to expand trade and tourism activities between the Northwest region and Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, two leading political, economic and cultural cities in Vietnam.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, through Vietjet’s routes, passengers will have opportunities to travel conveniently to the historic and heroic land to admire the beautiful natural landscape, as well as the majestic mountains and forests of the Northwestern region.
