Vietnam remained atop the Southeast Asian region with 1,664 points, while their strongest opponents Thailand jumped up two notches to 30th in the world with 1,649 points following their SEA Games gold medal.
In Asia, Vietnam stood safely at sixth position, behind Japan (3rd in the world), the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (9th), Australia (11th), China (16th) and the Republic of Korea (18th).
The USA continued to dominate the world with 2,197 points, ahead of Germany (2,173 points) and Japan (2,076 points). Australia was the only team knocked out of the top ten, slipping two places to 11th, while England rose three spots to eighth place on 1,956 points.
The next FIFA women's world rankings will be announced on June 20.
