The tournament is one of activities to mark the 100th anniversary of Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925–2025) and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025).

Speaking at the event, To Dinh Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, said that the “I Love Viet Nam” golf tournament is not merely a sporting event but a symbol of community cohesion, where the spirit of humanity and social responsibility is ignited through practical and meaningful actions.

Aimed at spreading love for the country and strengthening connections between the business community, media and golf enthusiasts, this year’s tournament continued to build upon and develop the core values established in the previous two seasons.

They also donated 100 million VND to the Association for Victims of Agent Orange to support families of victims in need.

In addition, the organisers presented gifts to Agent Orange victims and officers and soldiers currently serving in Viet Nam’s maritime and island territories.

This year’s tournament featured a diverse and attractive prize system, including the Best Gross award, first, second and third prizes in each category, and technical prizes such as Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin, and Nearest to the Line. Notably, there were two hole-in-one prizes worth nearly 5 billion VND each for golfers who achieved this feat.
