The award ceremony saw the presence of Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education, as well as Do Van Chien, Politburo member, PCC Secretary, and President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The awards received 2,135 eligible entries across print, online, radio, television, and photojournalism from over 100 media outlets. The selection committee chose 90 outstanding works, awarding five A prizes, 14 B prizes, 29 C prizes, and 42 consolation prizes.
Notable print and online pieces included “The Party under people’s supervision” (Nhan Dan Newspaper), “Land clearance success for belt road project in Hanoi” (Hanoi Moi Newspaper), and “Sunward Bound” (Gia Lai Newspaper).
Radio and television works highlighted inspiring themes of national unity, with impactful stories such as “Great unity for a strong Vietnam” (VTV5) and “Homes built by the people’s strength” (Bac Giang Radio).
Photojournalism entries featured powerful images such as Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong meeting outstanding national front officials (Nhan Dan Online) and the efforts to preserve ethnic culture in Yen Bai (Van Nghe Tre Newspaper)
According to the organisers, this year’s works were remarkable in conveying valuable social messages, promoting unity, and encouraging creativity toward building a strong national community.
