Meeting withthe family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Thu, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan kindly checked onher health and expressed her deep gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mother for her great contributions in giving birth and raising heroic children who fought and sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Acting President Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan said that the Party and State always respect and appreciate the sacrifices and great contributions of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers to the cause of national liberation and unification.
On behalf of the Party and State, Acting President Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Thu to wish her a happy and healthy life with her children and grandchildren, hoping that she will be a bright example for her children and grandchildren to follow.
The same day, the acting president visited and presented gifts to veteran and wounded soldier Tran Dinh Thi, who joined the Tan Son Nhat Airport battle of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign to completely liberate the South and unify the country in 1975. She also visited and gave gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Thu, whose husband and children are martyrs.
Earlier, she offered incense to commemorate martyrs at the Kon Tum Prison Historical Site. At the national historical site, Acting President Xuan also visited the Exhibition House,which holdsmany artifacts of communist soldiers and a model of the old Kon Tum Prison.
On the same afternoon, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the delegation visited and gave gifts to policy households, poor households, and children in difficult circumstances in Kon Ray District, Kon Tum Province.
