Tourist attractions and entertainment complexes in many localities are well-prepared with plans to welcome holiday visitors.
Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh said that even before the holiday, the department had instructed destination management units to focus on inspecting, reinforcing infrastructure, and supplementing manpower and facilities for services.
At the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, the Management Board arranged additional boat routes, with guides on duty to provide weather updates, remind visitors of safety measures, and assist them when needed. In particular, the Beer Fest Tam Coc 2025 is taking place in the picturesque landscape of mountains and rivers, bringing together domestic and international beer brands alongside food stalls featuring Ninh Binh’s specialities, together with music and traditional folk performances.
On this occasion, visitors to Ninh Binh can also enjoy various games at the water park in Sun World Ha Nam Entertainment Complex and watch fireworks displays on the evening of August 31 at Le Thai To Street, Hoa Lu Old Quarter, Hoa Lu Ward, and on the evening of September 2 at Dinh Tien Hoang Square.
This year, demand for historical and “return-to-the-roots” tourism, as well as experiential tourism in Tuyen Quang Province, is forecast to rise among domestic and foreign tourists. Travel agencies have developed new tours and routes to meet this demand.
Nguyen Van Trai, Director of Ha Giang Tre Travel Company, said that the company launched tours taking visitors to pay tribute to martyrs at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs’ Cemetery, visit Height 468, Dong Van Karst Plateau, terraced fields in Hoang Su Phi during the water season, Tuyen Quang Hydropower Lake, and concluding at the Tan Trao Special National Historical Relic Area, where many revolutionary relics are located and the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh stands. This offers a diverse, continuous journey that gives visitors new and fascinating experiences of Tuyen Quang, a frontier land of the Fatherland.
From August 30 to September 2, Flamingo Heritage Onsen & Resort is hosting a series of experiential activities under the theme “Pride of Viet Nam – Heritage Journey”. Recently, the Tuyen Quang Tourism Association launched a tourism product entitled “Marching in Uncle Ho’s Footsteps”. This tour begins at Na Nua hut, then leads tourists through forests to reach the Safe Zone in Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen Province.
According to Lai Quoc Tinh, Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Tourism Association, this tour is not just a walk but a journey back to history, reminding today’s generations to cherish peace, independence, and freedom, and to live more responsibly with themselves, their families, and their country.

Pham Duc Nam, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dong Van Commune, said that by now, all hotels and guesthouses have been fully booked for the September 2 holiday. To ensure the best service for visitors, the commune has renovated, cleaned, and restored landscapes at key sites such as Dong Van Old Quarter, pedestrian streets, the “sacred well”, the youth volunteer monument, and the Ma Pi Leng stopover. The commune has also instructed tourism service households to improve service quality, preserve cultural identity, and maintain a clean and beautiful environment.
Nguyen Thu Hoai, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang Province, said that various experiential activities will be organised, such as historical and return-to-the-roots tours to Tan Trao; the programme “Date with the Golden Season” in Hoang Su Phi; giant mid-autumn lantern displays; ethnic cultural performances; and recreations of Independence Day settings at cultural villages and tourist sites in the province.
To meet visitors’ accommodation needs during the holiday, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has provided a list of 1,478 lodging establishments, including hotels, guesthouses, inns, and homestays that meet tourism standards. The provincial police have mobilised traffic police and commune police at full capacity to ensure order during the holiday.
Tourist sites in Lao Cai Province are also actively preparing to welcome guests in this peak season. In Mu Cang Chai Commune, over 100 homestays and guesthouses have been renovated, many upgraded services and introduced new experiential tours, and room rates are publicly listed.
Giang A Cau, Secretary of the Party Committee of Mu Cang Chai Commune, said that the commune is strengthening checks on public order, food safety and hygiene, and fire prevention and control, and strictly handling touting and price gouging, ensuring a tourism environment of “Identity–Safety–Friendliness”. Activities such as the “Golden Season Festival 2025”, khen dance competitions, pounding glutinous rice cake, and ethnic costume shows are being held from August 31 to September 2.
Le Xuan Duong, Head of the Socio-Cultural Office of the commune, shared that visitors to Mu Cang Chai on this occasion will enjoy unique and special sites such as the Horseshoe Hill in Sang Nhu, terraced fields in Hang Dang De, the bamboo forest in Hang Su, the Lonely Rock in Kim Noi, Dragon Waterfall, and the ancient stone field in Che Cu Nha.
In Sa Pa Ward, the Autumn Festival is being held until October 4 with many special activities such as brocade fashion shows and dances, festivals at Ham Rong Mountain National Scenic Site, highland cultural experiences and Sa Pa Love Market, and the art programme “Pride of Viet Nam – 80 Years of Radiant Homeland”, promising unique and exciting experiences for visitors.
At Sun World Fansipan Legend, the “Golden Season Ban May Festival” is taking place, recreating the traditional rituals and cultural practices of Lao Cai’s ethnic groups during the abundant harvest season.
To Ngoc Lien, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Sa Pa Ward, said that alongside the organisation and hosting of attractive cultural activities, the People’s Committee has strengthened inspections to ensure food safety and hygiene, and to prevent price hikes during the holiday, so as to provide the best experiences for visitors to Sa Pa.
