Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province Dao Quang Khai informed of the province’s socio-economic development with many indicators among the top in the country. In addition, Bac Ninh has also paid great attention to environmental protection and considered it as a key factor to help the province develop sustainably.
Currently, the province is implementing four investment projects to build high-tech concentrated waste treatment zones for energy generation in Que Vo, Thuan Thanh and Luong Tai Districts. Once it is put into operation, they will basically treat waste generated in the whole province.
Bac Ninh strives to be the leading province in the country in treating household solid waste by high-tech waste incineration to generate electricity.

At the working session, functional departments and agencies discussed and clarified issues that the Binh Thuan Province’s working group is interested in such as the management and service prices of collection, transportation, and treatment of biological solid waste; criteria for selecting investors to treat domestic solid waste; implementing waste classification at source, implementing environmental protection deposits; handling the amount of ash and slag generated after waste treatment; and support policies for investors in waste incineration plant projects.
Standing Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Phan Van Dang gave sincere thanks to Bac Ninh’s leaders for taking the time to welcome the delegation and expressed his impression of the outstanding development of Bac Ninh.
The opinions are valuable experiences for Binh Thuan to apply, contributing to effective implementation of environmental protection and serving the socio-economic development of the province.
On this occasion, the Binh Thuan province’s delegation conducted field surveys at the projects including the high-tech centralised waste treatment area for energy generation in Ngu Thai Commune (Thuan Thanh Town) and the high-tech centralised waste treatment area for energy generation in Phu Lang Commune (Que Vo Town).
