Bronze bust of President Ho and other objects presented to relic site in Kunming

A bronze bust of President Ho Chi Minh and other objects were presented to a relic site dedicated to President Ho in Kunming City, in China’s Yunnan Province, at a ceremony held in Kunming on November 19.

The ceremony was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Sao Mai, Secretary of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee Wang Ning, Vietnamese Consul General in Kunming Nguyen Trung Hieu, and Governor of Yunnan Province Liu Jiachen.

The objects were made at the request of Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. They include books, photos, and writings of President Ho, plus replicas of his daily utensils and clothes.

The making of the objects was funded by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Kunming, the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Yunnan province, and Vietnamese and Chinese intellectuals and businesses.

The delivery of the objects was made on the occasion of Ambassador Pham Sao Mai’s attendance at the 6th China-South Asia Expo in Kunming City.
