Cai luong play to raise funds to support people affected by Typhoon Yagi

The Cai Luong (reformed opera) play entitled “The Sun at Night of the Century” will be performed for one night at the Vietnam Cheo Theatre. N.71 Kim Ma Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi , to raise funds to support people affected by Typhoon Yagi and floods.

The play, written by Le Duy Hanh and directed by People's Artist Hoang Quynh Mai, will take place at 8:00 p.m. on September 28.

The event is jointly organised by the Vietnam Cai Luong Theatre in collaboration with the Institute for Research, Preservation and Development of Southeast Asian Culture.

The proceeds from the performance, after deducting the minimum necessary expenses, will be sent to the Vietnam Fatherland Front through the Department of Performing Arts. Agencies, units, individuals, and businesses can provide support through the two forms of financial support and buying tickets to the performance.
