Inspection Delegation No. 29 of the Politburo and the Secretariat is headed by Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Vice President and member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat.
According to the delegation’s report, the initial phase identified strengths to be built upon as well as shortcomings requiring remedial action in the implementation of Party resolutions.
The Standing Board of the Son La Provincial Party Committee proactively coordinated with the delegation, directing subordinate Party committees and organisations to provide relevant documentation and support inspection activities at the grassroots level, thereby completing the first phase in line with Party regulations and procedures.
Within her remarks, Vo Thi Anh Xuan urged the provincial Party Standing Board to fully grasp and strictly implement the Politburo and the Secretariat’s conclusion notice.
She stressed that, in line with the Politburo’s directives, inspection delegations would carry out supervision on both an annual basis and throughout the entire term, ensuring comprehensive oversight of the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress across all levels. This, she noted, would help to ensure effective implementation from the outset and provide timely feedback and policy recommendations to support the Politburo and the Secretariat in national governance.
The vice president called on the provincial Party Standing Board to develop action plans to implement the supervision conclusions, with clearly defined responsibilities, tasks, and timelines; to build on existing achievements; and to focus on addressing identified shortcomings.
It was also urged to continue disseminating and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress in tandem with the Politburo’s strategic resolutions and the Son La Provincial Party Congress resolution, while translating these into concrete programmes and plans suited to local conditions.
The Standing Board was requested to promptly consolidate its organisational structure to ensure stable operations following the election while continuing to leverage local strengths in agriculture and tourism to drive socio-economic development alongside preserving ethnic cultural identities.
Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, said the Standing Board would direct the formulation of plans to address shortcomings in line with the Politburo’s conclusions and the delegation’s findings.
