Cultural exchange tightens ties between Vietnam’s Lam Dong province and India’s Ladakh region

A cultural exchange programme between Vietnam’s Lam Dong Province and India’s Ladakh region was held at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City on December 27.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee Pham S, highly appreciated the tourism potential and advantages of India and the Ladakh region.

He took the occasion to introduce the culture and tourism products of Lam Dong province.

He also called for closer connections in culture and tourism between the two localities, thereby opening up many opportunities for cooperation in various fields between Lam Dong and Ladakh.

For his part, Tashi Gyalson, Executive Councillor - Chairman of the Union Territory of Ladakh, Ladakh Development Council, noted with pleasure that India and Vietnam are strengthening bilateral cooperation in various areas, from trade, business exchanges, economic cooperation and cultural exchanges, to human connections.

The event featured art performances and videos praising the traditional culture and arts and tourism potentials of Da Lat City and the Ladakh region.
