The event was attended by representatives of the Malaysian and Indonesian embassies in Vietnam, as well as the leaders of the MoCST and Thai Nguyen.

The programme featured nearly twenty arts performances by over 100 professional and amateur artists from Vietnam and Malaysia, leaving a good impression on audiences, such as the Zapin Budi dance of Malaysia and the trong com (cylindrical drum) dance of Vietnam.

The performances, which were arranged meticulously, praised the beauty of the land and people and honoured the unique cultural identities of both countries.

At the programme, artists from the two countries had a chance to exchange and learn more about the traditional arts of each other side through song and dance.

The programme was part of the activities for the Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam Cultural Week, which is taking place from December 8-12.

The event is expected to contribute to enhancing cooperation and friendship among the ASEAN countries, particularly among these three countries.
