For the first time, the documentary reveals the 30-year journey of Vietnamese women’s football through the lens of director Nguyen Thi Tham.

The film follows the historic path of the Vietnamese women’s football team at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, marking Vietnam's debut on the global stage.

The premiere, which took place ahead of Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, serves as a tribute to Vietnamese women's quiet but courageous efforts.

The 78-minute film, produced by Vietcontent and Viewfinder, showcases the dedication and spirit of these players. Director Tham said this is the story of the Vietnam Women’s Football Team, as a vibrant and independent character with an inspiring path.

From their debut at the 1997 SEA Games to their appearance on the global stage at the 2023 World Cup, this documentary sheds light on Vietnamese women's football's 30-year journey. It highlights the realisation of dreams, the breaking of barriers, and the courageous persistence of generations of athletes who have set a new standard for Vietnamese sports.
