The exhibition is taking place as part of the activities to celebrate the 78th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA).

More than 50 paintings will be on display at the exhibition to highlight the close affection and solidarity between soldiers and people during the war period. Specifically, many of the paintings depict the image of President Ho Chi Minh, a symbol of the great unity of the country.

The exhibits, with their diverse materials and forms, were selected from the collections of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. They were mainly created during the resistance war against American imperialists during the 1960-1970 period.

The exhibition will last until December 31.
