It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. The film was released in Belgium on 5 October 2016 by Cinéart and in France on 12 October 2016 by Diaphana.
Each film will be screened free in its original language with Vietnamese subtitles.
Launched in 1984 in Belgium’s Wallonie Region, the festival first took place in 1985 and is organised every two years. Some films at the festival focused on a title of love. Now, the festival has become a prestigious film festival for Belgium, the EU and the world.
