The Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) has announced the top 10 finalists of a video clip-making contest promoting Vietnam’s tourism.

Themed ‘I Love Vietnam’, the online contest was launched at the opening ceremony of the first Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) in May 2023.

The contest, co-hosted by the VFDA, the Motion Picture Association of America, the US Embassy in Vietnam, BHD, K+, and TikTok Vietnam, aims to promote Vietnam as an attractive tourist destination and an ideal filming location.

The top 10 finalists were sorted out from nearly 290 entries, which capture the beauty of natural landscapes across the country.

The top 10 outstanding clips include ‘Cinematic Adventure Kong’, ‘Central Highlands region’, ‘An Giang - Way back home’, ‘Tiger Cave Adventure’, ‘Maple Forest in Quang Tri’, ‘Lost in Vietnam’, ‘Vietnam is No. 1’, ‘Pieces of Vietnam’, ‘Why you should visit Vietnam’, and ‘Camping on La An Pine Hill’.

One first, one second and one third prize of the contest will be announced on VFDA’s website https://vfda.vn/ and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hiephoixuctienphattriendienanh.

The winners will be honoured at a ceremony to be held within the framework of the second Da Nang Asian Film Festival, scheduled from July 2 to 6 in Da Nang City.
