According to the Digital Trust Alliance, 94% of financial institutions in Viet Nam plan to increase investment in artificial intelligence in 2026, indicating that the sector is entering a phase of large-scale technology deployment, where AI is gradually becoming a core foundation for growth and innovation.

However, alongside this rapid development, the issue of digital trust has become more urgent than ever. As technology advances faster than regulatory frameworks and risk control capabilities, building a secure financial ecosystem is no longer optional but a mandatory requirement.

Data from the Ministry of Public Security show that losses from online fraud in Viet Nam were estimated at over 8 trillion VND (304 million USD) in 2025, highlighting increasingly complex risks in the digital financial environment. In the AI era, as fraudulent activities become more sophisticated, trust is no longer a choice but a prerequisite for ensuring the safe and sustainable operation of the financial ecosystem.

Against this backdrop, the forum is organised by the Digital Trust Alliance in collaboration with the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), the National Cybersecurity Association, and MoMo.

Through this forum, the Digital Trust Alliance will also officially promote its 2026 action programme, featuring long-term initiatives to raise awareness of digital safety, verify information, enhance the accountability of influencers, protect users in cyberspace, and promote practical models of cooperation among the State, businesses, and society.

The forum is expected to serve as a platform for dialogue and collective action across the ecosystem, bringing together more than 1,000 delegates. It will also feature over 30 speakers and leading experts, along with more than 20 exhibition booths on digital trust and emerging technology trends in the finance and banking sector.
