Hanoi to host fireworks displays at 32 venues on Lunar New Year's Eve

Fireworks will illuminate the skies over 32 venues across the capital of Hanoi on February 10, 2024 (Lunar New Year’s Eve), as decided by the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee.

The fireworks will last for a total of 15 minutes with nine high-range shows and 23 low-range displays taking place.

High-altitude fireworks will be displayed at nine venues, including two venues around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hoan Kiem District, Lac Long Quan Garden in Tay Ho District, the F1 racetrack campus in Nam Tu Liem District, Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung District, Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong District, Son Tay Ancient Citadel in Son Tay Town, the air-conditioning lake project area in Thanh Tri District, and the Dong Anh District Sports Centre.

The two locations where fireworks will be launched by Hoan Kiem Lake are at the Hanoi Post Office and the headquarters of the Ha Noi Moi (New Hanoi) Newspaper.

The 23 points for lower-range fireworks will be located across the remaining 23 districts and towns as decided upon by local authorities.

Local businesses will contribute funding for the fireworks show.

The city has assigned relevant departments and agencies to conduct preparations for these events in order to ensure the utmost safety and security.
