The Politburo and the Secretariat held a national conference in Ha Noi on September16 on the implementation of Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 70-NQ/TW, Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, and Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo. Also attending the conference were Politburo member and State President Luong Cuong; Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former Politburo member and former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung (joining from the Ho Chi Minh City venue); Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, among others.
The conference was organised in a hybrid format, with an in-person session at the National Assembly building and virtual connections to venues across the country, drawing more than 1.2 million delegates nationwide. It was broadcast live on channels of Viet Nam Television and the Voice of Viet Nam.
During the programme, the conference heard four thematic reports delivered by senior Party and State leaders.
