The annual event is being jointly held by the Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising JSC (Vinexad) and Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association (VNPCA).
The expo features more than 200 pavilions by 150 enterprises, including 90 from Vietnam and 60 from 17 other countries and territories from around the world, including India, Canada, Germany, the Republic of Korea, Iran, Malaysia, and China.
The event introduces the latest achievements, technologies and techniques of the pharmaceutical industry in numerous countries, including Vietnam.
According to statistics, the number of foreign enterprises attending this year’s exhibition saw a sharp increase (15%) compared to 2016. In addition, the displayed products are more abundant and diverse, including diagnostic equipment, implants, rehabilitation, surgery, dentistry, and pharmaceuticals.
Notably, at this year’s event, there are pharmaceutical showcases of enterprises from Iran, dental equipment booths from Korean companies and Indian pavilions with pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and labs.
A wide variety of attractive activities, including seminars and a field trip to several hospitals in Hanoi and neighbouring provinces, will also be held during the expo.
The event offers an opportunity for enterprises in the pharmaceutical industry to access customers, as well as helping domestic businesses to learn from the latest advances in the world.
