Khanh Hoa ready for Vietnam’s first drone light competition

The 2024, the first-ever international drone light competition themed “Ever Glamour Nha Trang”, will take place in Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa Province) on the nights of July 13 and 20, featuring top countries in the field of drone light shows.

This is the first drone light show competition in Vietnam, featuring the participation of four teams from countries renowned for their drone technology and experience, including the Republic of Korea (RoK), France, China, and the UAE (United Arab Emirates). According to the rules, each team will use a minimum of 1,000 drones lasting between 15 and 20 minutes, combined with modern and dynamic music performances.

The opening ceremony and the first competition night between the RoK and China, themed “Glamour Nha Trang,” will be held at April 2 Square (Nha Trang City) on the evening of July 13.

The second night’s competition between France and the UAE, themed “Night of the Wonders,” and the closing ceremony, will be held at Vinpearl Harbour (Hon Tre Island, Nha Trang City) on the evening of July 20.

Before the shows, there will be rehearsals for the teams, which are scheduled for July 12 and 19. Accompanying the event, are prominent brands from Vietnam and around the world, such as Vinpearl, VinWonders, Heineken, Agribank, VCN, Chicilon Media, Shojiki, and especially Corex - an international drone performance unit.

According to the Organising Committee, hotels and resorts in the centre of Nha Trang City have reached an average occupancy rate of over 80%, during the 2024 International Drone Light Festival - Ever Glamour Nha Trang.
