The three-day event will feature art performances, a Vietnam-China art exchange, a marathon, a photo exhibition, and the screening of video clips featuring typical tourist destinations in Lai Chau Province.
A fair of 21 booths displaying OCOP products and typical farm produce of many localities, a space introducing cultural identities of local ethnic communities such as Mong, Ha Nhi, Mang, Lu, Lao, Thai, Dao, Giay, and Cong, and a food corner will also be set up on the occasion.
At the same time, a farm trip will be held from November 8-9, along with a seminar on building a city tour of the Lai Chau programme.
The Lai Chau Tourism-Culture Week aims to advertise the land, people, and culture of local ethnic minority groups to domestic and foreign visitors. It is expected to foster economic development and improve the living conditions for local communities through sustainable tourism activities.
