Literature camp on armed forces and revolutionary war opens in Da Nang

The People's Army Publishing House in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism opened the literary camp on armed forces and revolutionary war in Da Nang City on August 1.

The event attracted the participation of 15 poets and writers of different ages, who are enthusiastic about writing on the topics of soldiers, revolutionary wars, and the military.

Prominent among them included Ha Pham Phu, Ha Dinh Can, Nguyen Trong Tan, An Binh Minh, and Nguyen Tham Thien Ke.

Especially, there are two female writers Bui Thi Bien Linh and Linh Tam, both from Binh Phuoc, whose novels and short stories about soldiers were released by the People’s Army Publishing House.

Some participating writers and poets are war veterans, who experienced wartime and developed a huge passion for the theme of soldiers’ life.

Throughout their career, their literary works have focused on soldiers, comradeship, and heroic fighting years on the battlefields.

At the opening ceremony, the participants agreed that the theme of the revolutionary war and armed forces has been continuously growing and contributing to the country’s literature, with many outstanding works, which have received much interest and participation from many generations of writers, both within and outside the army.
