According to the organisers, there will be ten A prizes, 26 B prizes, 45 C prizes and 41 consolation prizes to be awarded, which are to be selected from the 165 best works in the final round.

This will mark the 18th time that Vietnam’s most prestigious press awards have been presented, whereby the winning reporters will be placed at the centre so that they can feel proud of their achievements and provide inspiration for their colleagues nationwide.

The 2023 National Press Awards saw the participation of 1,905 works by journalists from press organisations across the country.

The organisers said the works covered major topics from politics to the economy, culture, social affairs, security, defence and all aspects of life in 2023.

One of the outstanding features of this year’s awards is the presence of multimedia journalism works that were created in elaborate and attractive forms.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television’s VTV1 channel and the Voice of Vietnam’s VOV1 channel.
