According to their newly signed MoU, Nhan Dan Newspaper and the People’s Daily agreed to continue strengthening cooperation, mutual understanding, friendship, and promoting common development through exchange activities and delegation visits. These include regular delegation exchanges led by the newspapers’ leadership every two years, and irregular delegation exchanges at various levels on topics such as new media, new technology, and training young journalists.
Both sides also agreed to promote cooperation through the exchange of journalistic products.
Meanwhile, Nhan Dan Newspaper and Xinhua News Agency affirmed their willingness to cooperate for mutual benefit in news and information; exchange high-level visits led by representatives of each side’s leadership to enhance mutual understanding and promote bilateral cooperation; exchange news and information products; cooperate in training; participate in conferences and seminars organised by each side; and closely coordinate in reporting on state leader visits or official delegations, as well as major activities and events held in each country.

In recent years, Nhan Dan Newspaper has maintained close cooperation with the People’s Daily and Xinhua News Agency through delegation exchanges and the sharing of professional expertise and journalistic experience.
During receptions for delegations from the People’s Daily and Xinhua News Agency, Le Quoc Minh, Party Central Committee (PCC) member, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation, and President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, has reiterated the host’s aspiration to further strengthen cooperation with the People’s Daily and Xinhua News Agency, thereby continuing to actively contribute to promoting the friendship and good cooperation between Vietnam and China.
With the signing of the MoUs, Nhan Dan Newspaper, the People’s Daily, and Xinhua News Agency have established a solid foundation to further promote closer cooperation in the future, positively contributing to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China, while expanding exchanges and mutual understanding and fostering the good friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
