Accordingly, the group of journalists from Nhan Dan Weekly won the first prize for their coverage of tech startups, while their colleagues from Nhan Dan Online won the third prize for an article on fetal intervention.
Hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the annual awards aim to honour authors and journalists whose works timely reflected the outcomes in the country’s-sci-tech development.
This year’s awards received nearly 500 entries which provided a comprehensive overview of the country’s science and technology situation and the sector’s contributions to national development.
The entries also featured pressing topics such as policies and mechanisms on supporting science and technology, the impacts of the 4th industrial revolution on social life, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and innovative start-ups.
At the awards ceremony, the organising board presented two first, six second, and four third prizes to the most outstanding entries.
