Noi Bai ranked among world’s top 100 best airports

On April 9, Skytrax, a prestigious aviation rating and ranking organisation, announced the ranking of the world's top 100 best airports in 2025. Noi Bai International Airport has risen to 79th place, up 17 places compared to the ranking in 2024.

In this ranking, Vietnam has two representatives, Noi Bai International Airport and Da Nang International Airport, belonging to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).

"This is the 7th time that Noi Bai International Airport - an important international aviation gateway of the capital Hanoi - has been honoured in the prestigious rankings of Skytrax, marking a worthy recognition for the persistent efforts and continuous improvement of the airport over the past time," said the representative of the airport's leadership.

2024 marks many challenges for Noi Bai International Airport as it must ensure continuous operations while partially closing to carry out the T2 Terminal Expansion Project.

In that context, the airport and the units operating there still take advantage of every small opportunity to improve service quality: renovating passenger service spaces; organising cultural and artistic activities at the airport on holidays and Tet; enhancing the information technology application in flight operations; implementing the model of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) to increase operational efficiency, improve punctuality, and save aircraft fuel.

Notably, the implementation of a non-stop toll collection system at all lanes entering and exiting passenger terminals T1 and T2 has contributed to creating a smooth and convenient space for passengers. In addition, the airport also reviewed and added many convenient services such as phone charging, free wifi, children's play area, and child care area; ensuring infrastructure for people with disabilities; constantly improving the service attitude of frontline staff serving passengers; consolidating and enhancing the activities of the Action Committee for the quality of passenger service at the airport.

With the orientation of developing a smart airport, enhancing the passenger experience, and aiming for green and sustainable development, the staff of Noi Bai International Airport pledges to continue to make continuous efforts together with agencies, businesses, and airlines operating at the airport to improve service quality, increase passengers’ satisfaction, and affirm the position and prestige of the important international gateway airport of the capital Hanoi in the eyes of passengers and international friends.

Previously, Noi Bai International Airport has been ranked in the top 100 best airports in the world six times in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2024.

The World Airport Awards started in 1999 when Skytrax conducted its first global airport customer satisfaction survey. This is considered a quality standard for airports worldwide, evaluating customer service and facilities at more than 500 airports.
