The 2024 Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition is organised under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Hanoi, and the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province.
The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions presided over the organisation with the coordination of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, and the Department of Culture and Sports of Thua Thien Hue Province on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation Day of Hanoi (October 10, 1954-2024) and major national holidays.
The 2024 Vietnam Art Photography Competition and Exhibition received 9,500 works by 1,373 authors from 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The Art Council, established by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, consisting of prestigious photographers, conducted a serious and impartial selection, selecting 250 works from 194 authors to display at the exhibition, of which 33 excellent works were awarded.
