Party and State leaders pay Tet visits to policy beneficiary families

Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung on January 13 paid Tet visits to households in need and workers in Gia Lam district, on the occasion of the Tet holiday.

He presented Tet gifts to 50 families in need and 50 workers at the Vietnam Stanley Electric Co., Ltd, in Gia Lam district.

He conveyed his Tet wishes to families and workers at Vietnam Stanley Electric, wishing them health and happiness.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also gave 200 gifts to disadvantaged families in Gia Lam district, while the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour presented 200 gifts to workers throughout the locality.

He presented 400 gifts worth 300,000 VND each, to policy beneficiary families, households in need and workers in Tan Phu Dong and Chau Thanh districts, of Tien Giang province.

He also handed over four social houses worth 80 million VND each, to four policy beneficiary families in Tan Phu Dong district.

*On the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented gifts to 200 policy-beneficiary families, households in need, and 30 children living in difficult circumstances, in Hau Giang province.

She also visited and presented Tet gifts to 100 workers in need in Vi Thanh city, wounded soldier Nguyen Thi Ket and Nguyen Van Tai, the father of a martyr, in Vi Thanh city.

The Vice President emphasised that the consistent policy of the Party and State is to ensure the fairness and happiness of the people, so that no one is left behind.
