Ngo Phuong Ly visited the Ha Noi–Moscow Multifunctional Complex (Icentra) on the morning of July 23, where she attended two Vietnamese language classes run by the Asia–Europe prodigy centre as well as the “Joyful Vietnamese” programme for Vietnamese children living in Russia.
During her visit to the Vietnamese classes, Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her joy at seeing the young distinctly Vietnamese faces in Russia and shared her heartfelt emotion at witnessing the strong sense of connection to the homeland demonstrated by generations of the Vietnamese community living abroad.
Ngo Phuong Ly emphasised that language is not only a tool for communication but also a cultural bridge and a sacred bond connecting people to their ancestral roots. She affirmed that the Party and the state regard the overseas Vietnamese community as an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation.

“If you are Vietnamese, and you can speak, understand and use Vietnamese, then you will understand your roots, your nation’s history, and your ancestors. This will instil a sense of pride in your culture and origin. Wherever you are, always keep Viet Nam in your hearts,” she encouraged the students.
On the occasion, Ngo Phuong Ly presented Vietnamese books and storybooks to the students and joined them in clapping along to traditional songs about the homeland of Viet Nam.

Earlier, Ngo Phuong Ly met with staff members of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Russia and representatives of the Vietnamese community.
