During his visit to extend Lunar New Year greetings to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Hoang Thi Nghi in the Residential Area No.10, Thanh Son Ward, Politburo Member Nguyen Xuan Thang kindly inquired about her health. He also expressed deep gratitude and appreciation from the Party, State, and Quang Ninh Province for the noble sacrifices and significant contributions of martyrs and those who have served the cause of the nation's independence and freedom.
He urged local party committees and authorities to continue paying attention to improving the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiary families and contributors to the nation’s revolution in the locality through specific and practical actions.
On the occasion, Thang presented a 100th birthday congratulatory card from the president to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Hoang Thi Nghi. Visiting officials and workers of Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company – Vinacomin, Politburo Member Nguyen Xuan Thang praised and acknowledged the achievements made by the company in 2024.
He also expressed the hope that, in the future, the company would continue to lead the way, promote the spirit of discipline and unity among miners, and successfully complete all assigned production and business tasks.

In this regard, he emphasised the promotion of technology application and safe production in coal mining, especially in underground coal mining, to ensure the safety of workers.
