A programme on Vietnamese Tet culture opened at Can Tho Museum in the Me k ong Delta city of Can Tho on January 26, held by the City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

In this year's programme, the organising committee introduced visitors to 43 various activities, 30 houses decorated with tile roofs and bamboo walls; 48 artisans participated in performing typical cultural heritage types of ethnic groups: Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer, and Cham.

Calligraphy artists also offered festivalgoers the opportunity to witness and experience the art of calligraphy.

In addition to musical and fashion shows, festival goers can enjoy shopping and cuisine spaces.

They can also receive books and trees as lucky gifts with the best wishes for a new year.
