The programme serves as a tribute to General Secretary Le Duan, a steadfast communist revolutionary, an outstanding student of President Ho Chi Minh, and an exceptional leader who devoted his entire life to the cause of national independence and socialism.
During a revolutionary career spanning over 60 years, including 26 years as First Secretary and General Secretary, he worked alongside the Party Central Committee to lead the Vietnamese people through immense hardships and secure great victories for the Vietnamese revolution.
Forty years have passed since his death, yet Le Duan’s name, ideas, and immense contributions continue to live on in the hearts of people across the nation, particularly among the people of Quang Tri, the land that gave birth to, nurtured, and helped shape one of the nation’s most distinguished figures.
The programme will feature performances by the Quang Tri Traditional Arts Troupe and artists from national cultural institutions.
Comprising 14 meticulously choreographed performances, the programme will take audiences through key milestones in General Secretary Le Duan’s life and career.
Through music, poetry, and artistic performance, the image of a loyal communist revolutionary and outstanding Party leader will be brought vividly to life, at once towering in historical stature and deeply human in his warmth and everyday devotion.
