Secretary of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia offers incense at Dien Ban Martyrs’ Cemetery

Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia offered incense and laid wreaths in commemoration of fallen soldiers at DienBan Martyrs’ Cemetery in Dien Ban District, Quang Nam Province on July 15, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Invalids and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947-2022).

The Party official expressed his deep gratitude and respect for fallen soldiers and Heroic Vietnamese Mothers who devoted their youth and lives to defending the sovereignty and territory of the nation.

Dien Ban District saw the highest number of fallen soldiers with 19,800. Dien Ban Martyrs’ Cemetery is a national-scale cemetery which is the resting place of 5,620 martyrs.

Earlier on the same day, the Party official visited and presented gifts to the families of musician Thanh Anh and journalist Ho Duy Le in Hai Chau District, Da Nang, who have made significant contributions to the literary and artistic activities throughout the country.
