Seoul-Da Nang air route launched

The Da Nang municipal Department of Tourism welcomed the first passengers of the TW 9125 flight by T’way Air from the Republic of Korea (RoK) arriving at the Da Nang International Airport and officially launched the Seoul-Da Nang air route on July 1.

From July 1, passengers have one further choice to travel between Da Nang and Seoul on four flights per week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday on Boeing 737-800 airplanes.

The Seoul-Da Nang flights will take off at 13:15 and land at15:55 while flights from Da Nang will depart at 16:45 and arrive in Seoul at 23:30 (local time).

On the occasion of the air route’s inauguration, the two-way tickets are on sale from VND4.8 million (US$216) from July 15.

T’way Air is the best low-cost carrier in the RoK. Its headquarters is in Seoul and offices are located in Southeast Asian countries. The carrier serves travel to Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.

After a long market study, the carrier decided to open direct flights from Seoul to Da Nang as the Vietnamese city has numeourous beaches and luxury coastal resorts.
