Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Association, Nguyen Van Viet expressed his thank for the gifts.
He hailed that as the central agency of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the voice of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, Nhan Dan Newspaper plays a particularly important role and position in the Vietnamese revolutionary press.
The newspaper has contributed to cheering and motivating the army and people in the country’s two resistance wars as well as in the cause of Doi Moi (Renewal) and national development, he stressed.
The spring edition of Nhan Dan newspaper is considered a spiritual gift for war veterans to celebrate New Year and new spring, he noted.
The same day, 300 copies of Nhan Dan newspaper’s spring edition were presented to the Dong Nai Power Company.
The Newspaper representative office in Dong Nai will also deliver more than 1,500 other copies to units and businesses in the province.
