NA Chair Ngan expressed her delight at the improved income of local residents since the average income per hectare of agricultural land in the communes has increased from 10 to 20 times higher at more than VND500 million per hectare per year.

Xuan Quan commune has been established as a hub for flowers and ornamental plants in Van Giang district. NA Chairwoman Ngan hailed that the shift from traditional farming methods to high-technology farming is a positive direction for the locality, which has significantly contributed to raising locales’ incomes and livelihoods.

She asked the local authorities to continue providing support and facilitating farmers’ access to high technology and advanced farming experience, thus helping to increase their products’ value.

Later the same day, NA Chairwoman Ngan also visited and presented gifts to Vu Thi Ca, in Me So commune, Van Giang district, an 84-year-old wife of war martyr Vu Dinh Tu, who laid down his life during the national resistance war against the US.
