He noted that as the global and regional situation has seen rapid and complicated development, the fierce competition among nations and adjustments in our partner countries’ policies have posed certain impacts on our country.
He stressed that further effort, solidarity and involvement of the entire political system, business communication and people from all walks of life are needed to successfully realise the targets and tasks set for 2019 as well as directions made by Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, towards firmly advancing our country in the journey of reform, integration and development.
Accordingly, he requested that ministries, sectors and localities pay attention to removing difficulties and creating favourable conditions for businesses’ operations while designing proper policies and solutions to boost the fields and areas in which they hold strength.
It is necessary to take more synchronous and effective measures to expand the market and boost export activities, particularly for our key export products, he wrote.
At the same time, he requested practical actions to step up public capital disbursement, attract more private investment, promote socio-economic development, actively implement flexible monetary policies, control inflation, and tighten the management of state budget collection, thus creating a stable foundation for socio-economic development.
The Government leader also called for joint efforts among the entire political system in the fight against African Swine Fever (ASF) and to maintain the development of livestock and poultry production.
