‘For the cause of the Party’s foreign affairs’ insignia presented to 186 officials

The Party Central Committee's (PCC) Commission for External Affairs held a ceremony in Hanoi on October 30 to present the ‘For the cause of the Party’s foreign affairs’ insignia to 186 Vietnamese leaders and officials who are working in 47 centrally-run ministries and agencies.

Addressing the ceremony, Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Affairs highly valued the awardees’ effective contributions and support to the Party’s foreign affairs, State diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy.

The presentation of the accolade illustrated the acknowledgement and appreciation for the recipients’ close support and coordination with the Commission, he said.

He stressed that the Commission has received a lot of support and coordination from ministries, sectors, organisations, localities and international friends throughout its 70-year development.

On behalf of the awardees, Nguyen Van Giau, PCC member and Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Foreign Affairs said it was an honour to receive the insignia, affirming that he will make further contributions to the cause of the Party's foreign affairs.
