Exchange between Vietnamese and Cambodian youths wraps up

The exchange festival for Vietnamese and Cambodia young journalists, youths and students officially concluded in Ho Chi Minh City on November 7, after a series of significant activities.

The event was held to celebrate the 52nd anniversary of Vietnam – Cambodia diplomatic ties (1967-2019).

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Director of the Authority of Foreign Information Service under the Ministry of Information and Communications Doan Cong Huynh said that, through the exchange, youths have promoted their pioneering role, contributing to consolidating and enhancing the friendship between the two countries.

The event also offered an opportunity for young journalists, youths and students from Vietnam and Cambodia to share their experience in studying and working as well as to learn more about each other’s culture, he added.

The exchange took place in Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 200 young generations, youths and students from bordering provinces of Vietnam and Cambodia.
