The Department of External Relations under the Ministry of Public Security held a seminar titled “Safeguarding the rights of overseas Vietnamese — The role of the people's public security force” in Ha Noi on June 25. The seminar was chaired by Senior Colonel Nguyen Hoa Chi, Deputy Head of the Department of External Relations.

Addressing participants, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Trinh Duc Hai praised the games for strengthening solidarity within the Vietnamese community and fostering closer links among generations of overseas Vietnamese.

Thanks to the support of Nguyen Thanh Diep, Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nhan Dan Newspaper reporter Khanh Lan has spoken with several Vietnamese citizens currently living and working in the UAE to learn how the community is coping amid escalating conflict in the Middle East, which has affected many countries in the region, including the UAE.
