Many Vietnamese people in Laos have expressed strong interest in Viet Nam’s election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly (NA) and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 tenure, highlighting the important role of these bodies in the country’s new development phase.

In the country’s development vision toward 2045, the overseas Vietnamese community has been positioned as a strategic companion in national development.

The Homeland Spring 2026 programme is set to take place from February 6–9 in Ha Noi and Ninh Binh, featuring a wide range of meaningful activities rich in national cultural identity and reflecting Viet Nam’s vision and development aspirations in a new era.

Following the conclusion of the successful 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV), overseas Vietnamese (OVs) and foreign experts have shared a strong sense of confidence and renewed expectations, voicing firm belief that the country will continue to advance steadily on its development path in a new era.
