Cuban journalists have praised Viet Nam’s development achievements under the leadership of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) while showing keen interest in the upcoming 14th National Congress of the CPV.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba, in coordination with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), on December 23 held a gathering with former Cuban officials and experts who had worked in and have maintained close ties with Viet Nam, witnessing the special solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba celebrated the 80th National Day (September 2) with a ceremony held on September 16, drawing hundreds of Cuban officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, international friends, and Vietnamese people in the Caribbean nation.
