Three Vietnamese contestants win high prizes at Japanese music competition

Three Vietnamese contestants, including Pham Thuy Linh, Nguyen Thi Yen Linh, and Le Thi Tuyet Anh, have triumphed over 1,000 counterparts from around the world to win high prizes at the Kyushu Music competition.

The 26th Kyushu Music Competition in Japan took place from March 20 to 25, attracting more than 1,000 contestants from around the world.

The competition included instrumental and vocal competitions, with contestants divided and into different groups by age.

All contestants participating in the competition will receive a certificate issued by the Kyushu Music Competition programme. The competition judges are all prestigious Japanese and international professors.

Contestant Pham Thuy Linh won the competition's excellent prize in the student category. No other contestant has achieved this award in the past three years.

Contestant Nguyen Thi Yen Linh won a special prize in the student category, while contestant Le Thi Tuyet Anh won a gold medal in the student category.

All three contestants won the gold cup in the vocal competition at the 2023 Asian Arts Festival which took place in Singapore from July 10 to 14, 2023.
