Tomoku Vietnam inaugurates carton packaging plant in Binh Duong

Tomoku Vietnam Co.Ltd opened a plant producing carton packaging at My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park, Ben Cat town, Binh Duong province on November 20.

Tomoku Vietnam Co.Ltd is a subsidiary of Japan's Tomoku Group which is well-known for housing construction, sophisticated technology development and paper packing manufacturing.

The plant has a total investment of US$47.6 million and is equipped with modern technology. It is the first carton packaging plant of the Tomoku Group abroad after the inauguration of the same plant in Japan.

The factory is built on six hectares with a capacity of producing 60 million square metres of carton paper per year. The plant will officially begin operation in early January 2015.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Liem appreciated the carton packing project of Tomoku Vietnam, saying that the manufacturing area of the company is conformable with the investment direction of the province that intends to attract investment in supporting industries.

He emphasised that Binh Duong authorities pledge to create the best conditions for investors in general, and Tomoku Vietnam in particular, to operate effectively in the locality.
