Addressing a working session with units involved, the leader affirmed that Party and State leaders are watching the progress of the critical project as it is of strategic significance to the socio-economic development, defence, and security of the province, the southern key economic region, and the entire nation, expected to create some 200,000 jobs and anticipated to become one of the modern air transport hubs in the region.
With the remaining project timeline being tight (Phase 1 expected to be operational by mid-2026), Man urged local authorities to closely coordinate with ministries and sectors to review compensation, resettlement, and land acquisition. He emphasised the importance of investing in and completing basic infrastructure and facilities in resettlement areas to ensure living conditions, and called for attention to vocational training and stable livelihood creation for the residents.
The leader required the project investor and construction units to regularly review and update the progress of each component, ensuring compliance with construction quality standards, preventing any loss, wastefulness, or negative occurrences, and maintaining on-site security, order, and labour safety.
He also presented gifts to residents at the Loc An – Binh Son resettlement area and construction units involved in the project.
