On March 23, the Vietnam Women’s Publishing House will coordinate with Sachee Family Reading Club to organise an experience session in Phu Thuong village (Tay Ho, Hanoi) to join writer Le Phuong Lien.

This is a book reading model organised by the Vietnam Women’s Publishing House for testing in 2024 through the Sachee Family Reading Club with 4 programmes on science, gender, books for teens, and books on family finances.

In 2025, the Publishing House will bring the family reading club model to the outside with picnics in and outside the capital Hanoi.

Also on March 23, in Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Nam will organise a conversation about the book "Ti’s Story" by writer Phan Thi Vang Anh. The conversation took place from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Saturday Coffee Culture Salon (79A Phan Ke Binh, Da Kao Ward, District 1).

Also this week, “UK Children’s Picture Book Week: Explore, Dream, Create” organised by Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with ICBC and the British Council, will take place with many exciting activities for young readers. The event opened on March 21 at Kim Dong Publishing House, 55 Quang Trung, Hanoi.

All activities within the programme will be free and open to the public. Notable events include “A Date with Tiddler — The Great Storyteller” (10:00 AM on March 22), designed for children aged 5 and above; “Whispering Storytime — The Forgetful Cat” (10:00 AM on March 23), for children aged 3–8 and their parents; and a thematic discussion “Opening a Book — Helping Children Learn and Explore the World Through Children's Literature” (1:30 PM on March 22).
