[Video] Ho Chi Minh City to launch fireworks displays at 16 locations to mark 50th anniversary of being named after President Ho Chi Minh

Ho Chi Minh City will hold fireworks displays at 16 locations on the evening of July 2 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Saigon–Gia Dinh officially being renamed Ho Chi Minh City (July 2, 1976 – July 2, 2026), to create a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors.

According to the city’s People’s Committee, the fireworks show will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. There will be five high-altitude fireworks sites combined with low-altitude displays and 11 low-altitude sites across the city. Major locations include the Saigon River Tunnel area, Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site, Can Gio Coastal Urban Tourism Area, and several districts and localities to ensure that more people can enjoy the celebration.
