At the event, the President of the Association, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, said that since it was established, the association has become a meeting venue for Vietnamese students in Thailand.

She reported that the association has hosted many practical social activities and programmes, attracting the active participation of its members.

In the coming time, the association will foster students’ movements, connect Vietnamese students in Thailand, and boost exchange programmes with the Vietnamese Students’ Association in other countries, she said.

She revealed that a contest on Vietnam – Thailand relations will be held, helping Vietnamese students get a deeper understanding of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Participants at the event listened to presentations from university lecturers and experts on their experiences of learning the Thai language and better integrating into the community in the host country.

Le Nguyen Nhu Y, a first-year student at Kasem Bundit University, said that since she became a member of the association, she has had opportunities to make friends with many Vietnamese students from different universities in Thailand.
