Viet Nam welcomed 19.15 million international visitors in the first 11 months of 2025, up 20.9% year-on-year and surpassing its pre-pandemic peak of more than 18 million arrivals, according to the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT).

Viet Nam’s tourism sector is accelerating into the year-end peak season with strong momentum after 11 months of solid growth.

The Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) in coordination with the Tourism Development Support Fund are organising a Vietnamese tourism introduction programme in Beijing, Chongqing and Chengdu (China) from October 20-28 under the message: “Viet Nam – Timeless charm – Authentic experiences, living with green heritage.”

In 2025, Viet Nam’s tourism sector is aiming for the ambitious goal of welcoming 25 million international visitors. Achieving this target requires significant efforts from the entire industry, with timely facilitation policies alongside breakthrough and innovative solutions.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism held a press conference to announce the 19th Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC) 2025 on August 14.

Within the framework of the 2025 Da Nang Asian Film Festival taking place in early July, the film "Love in Viet Nam" was officially released, marking a new beginning for the wave of exploiting Vietnamese tourism through Bollywood cinema - one of the largest film production centres in the world.

Contestants participating in the Miss Tourism World 2022, which will be held in Vietnam, will have the chance to explore many landscapes and heritage sites throughout Vietnam.
