The event will take place from September 4 to 6 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC), under the theme “Sustainable tourism – Vibrant experience”.

According to the Organising Committee, so far, more than 250 exhibitors and 240 international buyers have confirmed their participation, such as Intrepid (Australia), Exodus (the UK), Collette (the US), JTB Corp (Japan), and Thomas Cook (India). Notably, this year’s expo will also expand to new promising markets such as Poland, Denmark, Qatar, Brazil, and Portugal.

In addition to the exhibition, Vietnamese tourism enterprises and international partners will have opportunities to join B2B meetings arranged by artificial intelligence (AI). This system helps “right match–right demand–right timing” connections, improving trade efficiency and creating substantive cooperation opportunities.

Especially, this year Ho Chi Minh City will also have the honour of hosting the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organisation for Global Cities (TPO).

The concurrent organisation of ITE HCMC and TPO will create a series of consecutive activities, elevating the scale and stature of both events. It is also an occasion to convey the message of Viet Nam’s tourism development trends, while affirming TPO’s vision for broad and deep international cooperation in the future.

With its scale and participants, ITE HCMC–TPO 2025 is expected to become a “springboard” for Ho Chi Minh City and Viet Nam’s tourism to reach further on the global map on tourism, trade, and investment.

At the press conference, Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, said that this year’s ITE HCMC–TPO will attract the participation of many important partners, including international tourism management agencies, leading corporations, and hundreds of domestic and foreign exhibitors. This is not only an occasion to promote Vietnamese culture and art but also to open the door to broader trade exchanges and deeper cooperation in the tourism sector.

“This combination not only expands the scale of multilateral international cooperation but also affirms that this is Viet Nam’s joint ‘deal’, aimed at promoting the country’s image and attracting strategic visitors and partners,” Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa shared.

She added that Ho Chi Minh City particularly focuses on the segment of visitors combining sightseeing with exploring investment opportunities, affirming Ho Chi Minh is not only a leading tourist destination but also a pioneer in trade connectivity and investment promotion.
